Hughes brothers keep making news: Luke commits to U-M
Luke Hughes, the youngest Hughes brother, who played with the Little Caesars Bantam AAA (14 & under) team this past season verbally committed to attend and play at the University of Michigan.
His oldest brother, Quinn, was a freshman at UM this past season, was the youngest player in the IIHF World Championship helping the United States win a bronze medal and is expected to be a top-10 pick in the NHL Draft next month.
Jack, a year younger than Quinn, was the USA Hockey Junior Player of the Year as a member of the National Team Development Program 18U and 17U teams and is the early favorite to be the first player selected in the 2019 NHL Draft.
Luke Hughes skates around a Canton Victory Honda player at the Silver Stick Bantam AAA finals in January. Little Caesars won, 1-0.
